Look what I found - the lovely little teal vest I made for Chloe at the beginning of LAST SUMMER! It's been sitting at the bottom of one of my knitting bags, waiting for the ends to be weaved in and a bit of pretty ribbon...thank goodness it still fits her!!
I LOVE this pattern. You can make the vest as I have, or continue the 'ruffled' rows all the way down (I think I'll try that one too). It looks complicated, but was oh so simple. The ruffles are accomplished by doubling your stitches - easy peasy. I wonder what it would look like if you make the ruffled rows a different colour...hmmm.
