[EAT] Lime and Moon Pie + Local Seafood

Trying to take full advantage of the scattered days of sunshine this spring - and what better way to do so, than by exploring Norma's Pier and having a slice of pie at Lime and Moon Pie Company. This beautiful afternoon just before spring break, we did just that. IT WAS SO GOOD - as was chatting with Chris and Stanka (friendliest folk on the planet) and playing with Oskar and Christopher (their beautiful boys). All pies and cakes are made with organic, local ingredients and tons of love. They now offer waffles and smoothies too...mmmmm. Can't wait for more sunny days and light filled evenings (they are open late Wednesday nights for dessert - was a favourite outing for us last summer).

Just before we were on our way back home, our friend, Doug, returned from emptying his crab and prawn traps. The kids loved playing with the bright pink critters and we even got to take a big bag full home (thanks Doug...they were delicious).

Island life...does it get any better??!!
